The Great Game - archeology and politics at the time of colonialism.

The exhibition focuses on the spectacular excavations and expeditions etc. Lawrence of Arabia, Gertrude Bell and Carl Humann. It shows the influence of European powers during the archaeological discoveries, especially in the Orient in the 1840s to 1940.
"The Great Game" presents over 800 high-level objects from the large, internationally renowned museums and many from private collections.
